The company Estepe Special Truck Products B.V., Heesch (Netherlands) has cooperated with our workshop master as well as with our transport manager to create this highlight. The mega space cab is produced in series and offers high comfort due to the great volume as well as to a level floor but this did not come up completely to our expectations as a modern moving company. We had the intention to create a cab where three persons have a place to sleep and it was important for us that apart from the driver four passengers have a seat during the transport. In order to make this possible Estepe made the roof higher by approx. 270 mm so that a maximum cab height of 3980 mm could be reached. Due to this conversion the height in the cab is over 2 m which means that there is now enough space to have a third place to sleep. The bed in the middle is a special construction which can be changed very quickly and easily to the back of a seat so that four persons can take a seat or three have a place to lie in the back. The interior in the cab made of steel is mainly equipped with Mercedes Benz material, therefore it hardly differentiates from the one Mercedes Benz uses. The total length of the interchangeable container, inclusive trailer, is 7.45 m. Total volume, with a clearance of 1.08 m, is 100 cbm. The chassis can accommodate interchangeable containers in length of 7.10 m, 7.45 m as well as 20 foot containers.
